ABOUT
We build property software that gets out of the way.
Managing a home should feel effortless. That belief is the whole company.
Rentium started where most property software fails: on the job. We manage and lease more than a hundred rental units of our own in Seattle. We've kept the ledgers, taken the 2am calls, dug through the shoebox of receipts — and the tools were always the problem: bloated, expensive, built for spreadsheets instead of people.
So we built the opposite. One app where a manager runs an entire portfolio, a landlord sees just their own properties, and a tenant pays rent and reports a leak without a manual. Each person gets exactly their slice — nothing more, nothing in the way.
We're starting in the United States, with real landlords and managers as our first customers. Every feature earns its place the same way: by making one of their days quieter.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Four principles, no exceptions.
-
Radical simplicity
If a non-technical landlord can't understand a screen instantly, it's not done. We cut until only what matters remains.
-
Honest by default
The price is on the website. We only show what the product actually does today — no vaporware, no asterisks.
-
Built by operators
We manage and lease real property ourselves — 100+ units of our own. We've felt the spreadsheet chaos firsthand, and built the tool we wanted.
-
Your data, isolated
Managers, landlords, and tenants each see only what's theirs. Strict separation between every account is a core part of how Rentium is built.
"Here's the new application. It's got one window. You drag your video into the window. Then you click the button that says 'Burn.' That's it." — Steve Jobs, designing iDVD. The principle behind Rentium.
